Growth in Demand for Neuro Physio Sees Team Expansion

Osiris Health has expanded capacity for its neuro rehabilitation services after seeing a recent increase in demand.

Michelle Brennan was appointed to the Osiris team in September 2021 – both to work with existing clients and also to meet the demand for new client referrals.

Michelle, who has 21 years of experience as a physiotherapist, has specialised in the area of adult neurological rehabilitation for over twelve years, making her a valuable addition to our highly respected team.

Michelle will work alongside our existing team of clinicians, seeing patients in their homes, in the community and in our regular clinics.

Commenting on joining Osiris Health, Michelle said:

“The Osiris team has an excellent reputation within the field and I am excited to now be part of it.”

Our specialist team are at the forefront of neurological rehabilitation and are recognised in the UK as leaders in their field. This includes the targeted use of Botulinum toxin injections in our therapies to aid joint and muscle movement.

Within our neurological rehabilitation service, we are able to assist clients with a wide range of neurological conditions, in particular traumatic brain injury and poly trauma patients. Our specialist therapies, which are delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of in-house clinicians, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and surgeons, are combined into a personalised treatment plan to help the individual work towards goals and attain the best quality of life possible.

We work closely with solicitors and case managers, assisting their clients that have traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) or medical negligence related acquired brain injuries (ABIs).

Having increased our capacity to take on new clients, we are now open to receiving new referrals from solicitors, case managers, other health professionals, or on a self-referral basis.

Upon receiving any new referral, we will arrange for an assessment to take place with one of our specialist clinicians.  From here, we work to devise a tailored report, complete with the likely investigations, tests and assessments, commenting on the probable prognosis and costs of on-going treatment modalities.

To arrange an initial discussion with a specialist member of our neuro rehabilitation team, please contact us, or complete our online referral form.
